Jesus supposedly died quicker than the other two men on the crosses beside him. “Not one of his bones will be broken.” And there is another scripture that says “People will look at him whom they pierced.” What he said is true, and he knows that he speaks the truth.) This was done to make the scripture come true. (The one who saw this happen has spoken of it, so that you also may believe. One of the soldiers, however, plunged his spear into Jesus’ side, and at once blood and water poured out. But when they came to Jesus, they saw that he was already dead, so they did not break his legs. So the soldiers went and broke the legs of the first man and then of the other man who had been crucified with Jesus. They requested this because it was Friday, and they did not want the bodies to stay on the crosses on the Sabbath, since the coming Sabbath, was especially holy. Jn: Then the Jewish authorities asked Pilate to allow them to break the legs of the men who had been crucified, and to take the bodies down from the crosses.

Once again I will mention mandrake was named in the Old Testament and since everything about the New Testament is referenced from the Old Testament as a prophecy then this detail cannot be overlooked. In particular since this effect is similar with the administering of mandrake, which was known in the first century. The perfect timing of drinking the wine from the sponge and then dying cannot be ignored. He supposedly died quicker than the other two on the crosses beside him. Wine does not kill a person, but wine mixed with a death simulating drug would cause this affect. This is consistent in all chapters that he takes the wine on the cross and when he finishes the wine, he is suddenly finished, giving up his spirit. Jesus drank the wine and said “it is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Jn: Jesus knew that by now everything had been completed and in order to make the scripture come true, he said “I am thirsty ” A bowl was there, full of cheap wine, so a sponge was soaked in the wine, put on a stalk of hyssop, and lifted up to his lips. In order to use the mandrake plant as a talisman, we must first wash the root, macerate it and let it mature.I will now give you John’s continued version of Jesus on the cross.

Mandrake root as a powerful talismanĪs we explained previously, the mandrake root (the one which somewhat resembles humans), was not only used in spells and rituals but also as a talisman meant to bestow spectacular prosperity and an abundance of good fortune upon the wearer, such as boosting fertility (much like Rachel found in the Bible). Some people even used to bleed on the homunculus plant to feed it so that it would be stronger.

The homunculus root has been associated many times with a genius, or an ancient and wise person of small stature, and because of this people have given it divine powers. According to alchemists, these plants had been fertilized with sperm from the hanging men (the sperm would be expelled in the human's last convulsions before death), and due to this, these plants had a highly coveted extra vitality. Out of all the different mandrake plants, the most desired ones were those which grew underneath gallows.
